Light Yagami's god complex evolves throughout the series "Death Note" as he gains more power and influence through the use of the Death Note. Initially, he believes he can use the Death Note to create a better world by eliminating criminals and those he deems unworthy. As he continues to outwit his adversaries and evade capture, his god complex grows stronger, leading him to see himself as a true god who can control life and death. However, towards the end of the series, his god complex becomes his downfall as he becomes consumed by his own power and loses sight of his original intentions, ultimately leading to his demise.
