Throughout the series "Death Note," Light Yagami's sense of justice evolves from initially believing he is delivering justice to criminals by using the Death Note, to becoming consumed by power and a god complex, ultimately leading to a distorted and self-serving version of justice where he manipulates and kills anyone he sees as a threat to his own agenda. This transformation showcases a descent into moral ambiguity and the consequences of unchecked power and righteousness.
