Rainwater is purified in nature through a process called natural purification. When rain falls, it is relatively pure, but as it comes into contact with the air and surfaces on its way down, it can pick up pollutants and contaminants. However, once the rainwater reaches the ground, it goes through a natural filtration process as it seeps into the soil. The soil acts as a natural filter, removing impurities and pollutants from the water. Additionally, rainwater may also pass through layers of rocks and underground aquifers, further purifying it before it replenishes groundwater sources or flows into rivers and streams.
