In my opinion, one modern movie with exceptional character development is "The Social Network" (2010). The most well-developed character in this film is Mark Zuckerberg, portrayed by Jesse Eisenberg. The movie does a great job of exploring Mark's complex personality, motivations, and evolution as a character throughout the story.
