Whales communicate through a variety of vocalizations such as clicks, whistles, and pulsed calls. They use these sounds to communicate with other whales, navigate, locate prey, and establish social structures within their pods. Some whales are also known to use body language, such as breaching, slapping their flippers, or even spy-hopping, to communicate with each other.
