One movie that I believe has a great use of voiceover narration is "The Shawshank Redemption." The narration provided by the character of Red, played by Morgan Freeman, helps to give insight into the thoughts and emotions of the protagonist, Andy Dufresne, played by Tim Robbins. Red's narration not only provides background information and context to the story but also adds depth to the themes of hope, redemption, and friendship. It enhances the story by creating a more intimate connection with the audience and by offering a unique perspective on the events unfolding on screen.
