Elephants are known to communicate over long distances using a variety of low-frequency sounds known as infrasound, which can travel through the ground for several miles. This allows them to stay in touch with other elephants in their herd or even communicate with elephants in neighboring herds. They also use vocalizations, body language, and even seismic communication to communicate over long distances.
