Dogs can see colors, but not in the same way humans do. While humans have three types of color receptors (cones) in their eyes, dogs have only two, which means they have a limited color vision compared to humans. Dogs can mainly see shades of blue and yellow, and their ability to distinguish between red and green is limited.
