Bats do not actually see in the dark. Instead, they have evolved to rely on echolocation to navigate and hunt for prey in the darkness. Echolocation is a process where bats emit sound waves and listen for the echoes bouncing back from objects in their surroundings. This allows them to create a mental map of their environment, even in complete darkness.
