Tokyo Revengers portrays the influence of childhood experiences on adult behavior through its main character, Takemichi, who travels back in time to his middle school years to change the course of his life. The series shows how Takemichi's traumatic experiences as a child lead to his behavior as an adult, and by revisiting his past, he is able to confront and overcome those experiences to create a better future for himself and those around him.
