Takemichi is motivated to become a catalyst for positive change within the gang because of his desire to protect and save his friends, especially Hinata. He also wants to prevent tragedies and create a better future for those he cares about. Additionally, Takemichi gains a sense of responsibility and purpose as he realizes the impact he can make by influencing the gang's actions towards a more positive direction.
