Clouds form in the atmosphere through a process called condensation. When warm air rises, it cools down and can no longer hold all the water vapor it contains. This excess water vapor then condenses onto tiny particles in the air, such as dust or pollen, forming tiny water droplets. These droplets come together to form clouds.
