Light Yagami, the main character from the anime series Death Note, initially views his actions as justified in his quest for justice. However, as the story progresses, he becomes consumed by power and the consequences of his actions start to take a toll on him both personally and globally. He becomes more isolated, paranoid, and struggles with the weight of the lives he has taken. Ultimately, Light's downfall is brought about by the consequences of his actions catching up to him, leading to his demise.
