Light Yagami from the anime "Death Note" copes with the psychological toll of being Kira by initially viewing himself as a "god" who can rid the world of criminals, believing his actions are justified for the greater good. However, as the series progresses, the weight of his actions starts to affect him mentally and emotionally, leading to increased paranoia, isolation, and ultimately a descent into madness as he struggles to maintain his sense of self and morality.
