Light Yagami, from the anime "Death Note," views himself as a self-proclaimed "god of the new world" who believes he is carrying out justice by punishing criminals through his use of the Death Note. He sees himself as a savior who is purging the world of evil and creating a utopia where crime does not exist. However, his actions blur the lines between justice and retribution as he becomes increasingly obsessed with power and control, ultimately leading to his downfall.
