Light Yagami infiltrates the task force by using the Death Note to manipulate events and deceive the members of the task force into believing he is a valuable asset in their investigation. He also strategically positions himself as a diligent and intelligent student, gaining the trust of the task force members and eventually becoming an integral part of their team.
