Light Yagami's actions in the anime "Death Note" significantly affect his sense of honor. At the beginning of the series, he believes that his actions to rid the world of criminals using the Death Note are honorable and just. However, as he becomes more consumed by power and his desire to become a god-like figure, his sense of honor becomes distorted. He starts justifying his immoral actions in the name of creating a utopia and loses sight of his original intentions. Ultimately, his descent into darkness and disregard for human life completely shatters any sense of honor he may have had at the beginning.
