Light Yagami, the main character in the anime "Death Note," views himself as a superior being compared to the rest of humanity. He believes that he is the only one capable of bringing justice to the world and sees himself as a god-like figure with the power to control life and death. This arrogance and self-righteousness drive his actions throughout the series.
