Space itself does not have a specific temperature because it is a vacuum, meaning it contains very few particles to have a measurable temperature. However, objects in space can become extremely cold, sometimes reaching temperatures close to absolute zero (-273.15 degrees Celsius or -459.67 degrees Fahrenheit) in the shade.
