Alpacas exhibit a number of quirky behaviors that are both amusing and fascinating. Some of these include humming softly to communicate with each other, spitting when they are annoyed or feel threatened, cushing (sitting down on their bellies with their legs tucked underneath them) to relax, and pronking (jumping in a playful manner) when they are excited or happy.
