One example of a mutualistic relationship between eagles and other wildlife is their relationship with vultures. Eagles and vultures often share the same habitat and may work together when scavenging for food. Vultures have a keen sense of smell and are able to locate carcasses, which they may struggle to open on their own. Eagles, with their strong beaks and talons, are able to tear open tough hides and access the meat inside, allowing vultures to feed alongside them. This benefits both species as they are able to access food sources they may not be able to obtain on their own.
