Lions exhibit cooperative behavior during feeding times through a hierarchy within their pride. The dominant lions usually eat first and then other members of the pride get their share. They also work together to take down larger prey by forming a strategy and working as a team to ensure a successful hunt. Additionally, they may share food with each other, especially lionesses who are nursing cubs or injured pride members.
