Hamsters have special pouches in their cheeks called "hamster pouches" that are located on both sides of their mouths. These pouches are elastic and expandable, allowing the hamster to fill them with food such as grains, seeds, fruits, and vegetables. Hamsters use their front paws to stuff food into these pouches, and once the pouches are full, they can carry the food back to their burrows or nests to eat later.
