Some animals migrate alone while others migrate in herds due to various factors such as their species characteristics, survival instincts, and environmental conditions. Animals that migrate alone may do so because they are solitary by nature or have specific individual needs during migration. On the other hand, animals that migrate in herds often do so for safety reasons as being in a group provides protection against predators and increases their chances of survival during the long and arduous journey. Additionally, migrating in herds allows animals to benefit from shared knowledge and resources, such as finding food and water along the migration route.
