I recommend the movie "The Prestige" directed by Christopher Nolan. It is a brilliantly crafted psychological thriller about rival magicians in the late 19th century, starring Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale. Despite its intricate plot, stellar performances, and thought-provoking themes, it often doesn't receive as much recognition as some of Nolan's other works like "Inception" or "The Dark Knight".
