The Rub' al Khali, also known as the Empty Quarter, is a vast desert in the southeastern region of the Arabian Peninsula. It is the largest continuous sand desert in the world and covers a significant portion of the southern part of Saudi Arabia, making up approximately one-third of the country's land area.
